A risk is still a risk
A risk is still a risk is a personal project that I developed in my third year of uni. From personal experiences and research I became interested in banning alcohol advertising due to health risks. I found that not a lot has been done to change alcohol advertising due to health risks and was surprised to discover that its current restrictions are focused on protecting young people and that no further rules are in place as of yet due to alcohol being a social norm and tax. Other advertising of alcohol awareness still felt encouraging as they focus on the units that are considered a safer amount to drink per week. However no matter the units a risk is still a risk. I made this campaign using wood block printing using bright red and black background. The project includes a3 posters, a future plan, petition, bottle neck hangers, sticker and guerilla advertising.
