Home bargains

For my dissertation I decided to look at subliminal advertising. As well as the written essay I was tasked to complete a practical project that linked to my essay. As subliminal advertising is banned it has taken a new form so I decided to expand on what I already had researched in my essay and look at how brands use colour and design to form they brand identity and relate to their audience. I decided I was going to choose a brand I felt like didn't have a great brand identity and how they could use modern design to build on this. I decided to look at rebranding home bargains as they are an interesting bargain brand that sell top brands and claim for their customers to have a "luxury experience". I took this and rebranded home bargains keeping in mind their brand values and what they want their customer experience to be as well as keeping the brand cohesive and focusing on copywriting outcomes due to the brands budget.
